Chicken Cordon Bleu Recipe

Here’s my version of one of my favourite food… Chickn Cordon Bleu

Chicken Cordon Bleu


2-3 pcs chicken breast (more if you prefer)

2-3 pcs of sliced cheese

2-3 pcs of sliced ham

Salt and pepper

2 tbsp flour

1 med egg beaten

2 tbsp Japanese Bread Crumbs (the one that you use to cook shrimp tempura)

½ cup of cooking oil


  • Pound chicken breasts until flatten but not so much that it would have holes
  • Season the pounded chicken with salt and pepper on both sides
  • Place the slices of ham and cheese at the center of the chicken
  • Roll chicken and dip it to flour then egg then the Japanese bread crumbs thn secure with tooth picks
  • Heat oil in a deep fryer and when the oil is hot enough deep fry the chicken until golden brown
  • Remove from heat and serve.
